Miss Hispanic SEAFAIR 2005

Natalie's Bio:

My name is Nathalie Negrón. I was born in Fort Lewis, Washington on Sept. 30, 1985 to my parents Jose and Romy Negrón. I’m proud to say I’m Puerto Rican and Bolivian.

In High School, I participated in sports such as golf and swimming. I was on Varsity Golf for two years and participated at Districts both years. I was also on Varsity Swimming for four years participating at Districts each year, and had the privilege of going to the State Championship my freshmen and sophomore year. I also had the honor of being Captain of my team senior year. Throughout high school I participated in various clubs such as Interact (Community Service Club) and DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America).

I'm currently attending South Puget Sound Community College to achieve my Associate of Arts degree in order to transfer to a four year university. I have considered different majors, and would like to enter in a field that connects with my strongest characteristic of Social Communication. I enjoy Business and would like to take a few courses in International Business Relations to experience whether this field is suiting for me.

I'm a part-time employee at the Macy's of Olympia. I feel that this is where I have been able to strengthen most of my personal traits and enhance my articulation. In working retail I have had to overcome fears of speaking to various individuals that I have little familiarity to.

During my free time I enjoy watching movies; one of my personal favorites is Casa Blanca. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. Dancing has always been a deep passion for me; my favorite styles of dance are salsa and hip-hop.

I hope that by reading this mini-biography you have a closer personal feeling toward me, and I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
