Michelle Reynolds

My name is Michelle Reynolds and I am a
senior at Holy Names Academy. I was born in Seattle but have
grown up in a mixture of two cultures since my motherand my
large family are from Mexico city.
Throughout my life I have enjoyed the Hispanic culture to the
fullest. I am proud to say that I am Mexican American and yearn
to represent my culture through a sturdy education. I plan to
attend the University of Washington and double major in Business
Administration and Spanish.
I try to keep a
balance in my life between work and play. When I’m not busy with
schoolwork I like to watch movies, listen to music, and dance.
My family has also instilled in me a passion for service and
leadership. I have volunteered at Children’s Hospital and in the
St. Mary’s community and am currently a leader of both the
Multicultural Student Union and the
Hispanic club (Movimiento de Mujeres Hispanas) at my
school.
I plan to
continue working hard to become a successful Hispanic woman. By
success I mean achieving a respectable education, a strong
spirituality, and true happiness. |
