Committees

Royalty	Help to recruit and promote candidacy for the Miss Hispanic SEAFAIR Scholarship Program. Help coach Scholarship candidates during both the Miss Hispanic SEAFAIR and the Miss SEAFAIR Scholarship Program for Women Coronations. Help organize events such as the Fundraising Social and the Miss Hispanic SEAFAIR Scholarship Program for Women Coronation and other special HSO Queen/Princess Appearances, throughout the year.
Public Relations	Promote the Hispanic SEAFAIR Festival by creating and distributing information including flyers, posters and other materials to broadcast and print media. Serve as liaison / spokespersons to the public.
Entertainment	Organize the musical offerings, games and other entertainment performing and amusing the multitudes attending the festival. Activities include arranging performer's schedules, negotiating contracts and payments, and ensuring the quality of this most visible and popular part of the Festival.
Vendors/Booths	Involve the business community, sports organizations, artisans and caterers in promoting their wares at the festival. Involves negotiating contracts with purveyors of information and/or souvenirs, as well as enticing the delicious food vendors to share their goodies. Planning the layout, setup and teardown of visitor's booths is also involved.
Membership	Maintain a database listing of Hispanic SEAFAIR Organization members. Duties include promoting membership expansion, notification and tracking member payments and recognition of outstanding member contributions.
Fundraising	Plan, organize and produce fund-raising events, to support the activities of the Hispanic SEAFAIR Organization and pay the bills for performers, participants and scholarship opportunities. Put on dinners, auctions, concerts and mini-festivals to involve the public in supporting HSO.
